ACC (Accelerometer) |

Figure 4 Accelerometer
Initiates a diagnostic test in the field. The accelerometer (ACC) is typically mounted on the brake foot pedal. When conducting parking brake tests, the ACC can also be mounted directly on a parking brake air knob.
The ACC is connected to the Remote port on the front of the MCU.
A sudden movement of the accelerometer on brake pedal or parking brake air knob initiates test. When using the ACC, there is a time lag (less than ten milliseconds) between movement initiating the ACC unit and the start of test measurements.
